We like to use this vitamin as a more complex molecule combining L-ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbyl phosphate in a high concentration to obtain a more stable form that breaks down slower when exposed to air. Even so, keep in mind that vitamin C is not an ingredient to use now and then, extending the use-up rate of the product endlessly after opening. Fresh is best.
